(November 7, 2012)

After a season of wins, awards, and success the Perrin Motor Sports Team would like to announce the sale of their current monster truck racing operation and a much needed hiatus from racing.

Perrin Motor Sports’ roots began in the Michigan mud in the mid 1980’s when founder Jeff Perrin began competing in local mud bogs with his brother, Jim. The two campaigned a red 1950 Chevy pickup called the Bush Hog. After some fun in the mud Bush Hog naturally transformed to a monster truck with full 66” tires in 1986 and began car crushing. Back in the early days, Bush Hog was pulled from show to show with a school bus hauler and an open trailer.

Now after dazzling millions of fans and touring the states performing to sold-out houses, the Perrin Family is looking forward to some much needed relaxation after 24 years of racing. The husband and wife team was always a force to be known, from the early days and the beginning of Jocelyn’s career in the Bush Hog to winning the prized Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Team of the Year award in March of 2012. Even after thousands of miles and countless hours of travel up and down the road, one thing never changed, the Perrin’s pure love for the sport of monster truck racing.

It is no doubt that Jocelyn took the spotlight in recent years driving “Slick Willy”, “Lil' Miss Dangerous”, and most recently, “High Maintenance” but it wasn’t without the endless hours in the shop and the 110% effort behind the scenes given by her husband, Jeff. Anyone who spent time in the pits at any show the Perrins were performing at could tell you about the the smile he had on his face watching the truck fly though the air or watch Jocelyn interacting with her fans.

The much needed home time comes highly anticipated by the Perrin’s daughters, Cassie and Natalie who are looking forward to some fun vacations that don't involve a monster truck show and even some new pets in the future. Both Cassie and Natalie grew up as “monster truck kids” on the road and behind the scenes with the trucks. Many fans might remember the girls riding their quads on the track before the events in the summer.

Perrin Motor Sports’ career highlights include winning 3 back-to-back Monster Nationals Freestyle Championships, 2009 MTRA Truck of the Year, 2008 MTRA Sportsman Award, and 2012 Monster Jam Team of the Year.
Having started driving in 1990,

Having started driving in 1990, Jocelyn steps aside as the most top ranked independent female drivers in the industry.

Their career is dedicated to all of the friends, family, fans, and sponsors who kept the team going throughout the years of racing and in memory of those loved ones who were lost on the journey.

"We will miss the sport but look forward to seeing what this new page has to offer."

Be on the lookout for a special career highlight video coming in December.

The new chassis made it's first test and tune debut this past weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana at the 4 Wheel Jamboree Nationals. The truck worked beautifully and the team couldn't be happier. The crew at Concussion Motorsports did a fantastic job and delivered a strong piece that will definitely make some noise this winter. Steve Combs with Knight Stalker had the shocks working great, and ZR Graphics wrapped the test and tune body on site.

This weekend we're close to home in Kalamazoo Speedway on Saturday! So come out and check out the new truck!

(September 13, 2010)
We are back after a weekend in Illinois with Concussion Motorsports. Rich and the gang are coming along great with the new chassis, its looking really good! It will make a test and tune debut next weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana at the 4 Wheel Jamboree.

Special thanks to the Concussion Motorsports team and Knight Stalker Enterprises for making one awesome monster!

(August 9, 2010)
Monroe, Michigan's Monster Truck Summer Throwdown ended a chapter in Perrin Motorsports. In 2001 the team debuted it's current chassis that ended with a rollover. 10 years later, the chassis is retired in the same fashion. After a few good wheelies in freestyle, Jocelyn sent the truck past vertical over the van stack, the truck fell backwards onto it's lid as the fans went crazy.

The gang as Concussion Motorsports is hard at work stripping down the old chassis and assembling the new Concussion chassis at their shop in Ellis Grove, Illinois. The team is looking for a debut sometime in September. We'll keep you posted!

(July 6, 2010)
It was a hot and sunny 4th of July weekend but the action at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant, Michigan was blistering as Monster Truck Madness truly took over on July 3. Jocelyn kicked things off with a fantastic set of wheelie in the wheelie contest walking the truck over the cars much to the delight of the crowd. Freestyle was wild as Perrin turned in a fantastic run filled with big air, donuts, and vertical wheelies.

A HUGE thanks to the Soaring Eagle Casino for their hospitality. Look for a highlight video in the next few days!

Our next show is the 2nd Annual Jesse Birgy Memorial Monsters of Rock event at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan on July 22nd. Hope to see you there!

(May 26, 2010)
After taking 3 Freestyle Championships, some nasty crashes, vertical wheelies, and blistering fast cyclones, the current High Maintenance chassis will be retired this Summer. Built in 2000 by the Perrin family and Charlie Bidgood of AB Spring, the current chassis has served well for nearly a decade of wild rides and heart thumping thrills. To segway into a new decade and new chapter of Perrin Motorsports we would like to welcome Rich Inman and Concussion Engineering to the team and announce the construction of a new Concussion Engineering Chassis for Perrin Motorsports. “I couldn’t be happier with Rich and the guys at concussion” stated team owner Jeff Perrin, “We’re definitely looking forward to achieving some great things with the new truck.” he continued. “Rich’s fabrication work is amazing and his chassis are tough.” Perrin Motorsports is also thrilled to welcome Steve Combs and Knight Stalker Enterprises to the fantastic lineup of sponsors making it possible to compete. Knight Stalker Enterprises will be sponsoring the new High Maintenance with all new sway bars and two new 4” double bypass 26” travel shocks and the team couldn’t be more excited.

August will mark the 20th anniversary of Jocelyn's monster truck career, what a way to celebrate as she will climb behind the wheel of her all new truck as Concussion Engineering and Perrin Motorsports hope to have the truck fully operational by September.

The team is shooting for some testing and possibly unveiling for a test and tune session at the 4 Wheel Drive Jamboree in Indianapolis, Indiana mid September. Fans can still catch High Maintenance and Jocelyn in action with the summer shows kicking off July 3rd in Mt Pleasant, Michigan.

Special thank you to everyone who made the past decade of thrills and spills possible and to everyone helping to make the next just as fun!

(The current High Maintenance chassis being backyard tested in 2000)

The Silverdome reopened after being closed for several years on Saturday. What better way then having monster trucks to reopen the historic dome? Jocelyn fought hard through the racing brackets making it all the way into the final round against Sean Duhon in Sudden Impact. In a close race, Jocelyn was defeated but the crowd still roared their approval for the bright 1940's Willys designed by ZR Graphics. Freestyle ended early after a fantastic vertical wheelie sent the truck up on two wheels and over onto it's roof. Jocelyn was disappointed but was thrilled to see all her fans in the autograph line after the show!

Thanks to the folks at ZR Graphics and Concussion Engineering for their help and a fantastic weekend!

(ST LOUIS, MO) Perrin Motor Sports is the proud co recipient of the MTRA (Monster Truck Racing Association) 2009 Truck of the Year award! The MTRA held it's annual meeting and banquet over the weekend in St Louis, Missouri to end another year in monster truck history.

"We are very proud of our team and our accomplishments," said driver, Jocelyn Perrin. "It wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for our crew, my husband Jeff, all of our great sponsors, and most importantly, the fans."

Perrin Motorsports shares the coveted Truck of the Year award with none other than Doug Noelke with TailGator and Team Bigfoot.

However, that wasn't the only award taken home from banquet. Mike West represented the late George Eisenhart's Image Promotions Monster Nationals to give two awards. First Big Dawg 4x4 was awarded with their 2009 Racing Championship. Secondly, West awarded Jocelyn with the 2009 Monster Nationals Freestyle Championship for the final season of the Image Promotions Monster Nationals. "We would like to thanks all of our competitors, fans, and 2009 Monster Nationals staff members for this honorable and memorable victory." stated Jocelyn.

We thank Mike and the entire 2009 Monster Nationals crew for carrying on duty and producing great shows to finish off the finals season of Image Promotions. It was definitely a rough season emotionally but together, we finished with flying colors.
